Project Description
This Big Chill exterior repaint was completed by Alvarez Painting for Michael’s home in Cary, NC. The five-day project included pressure washing, minor carpentry, and repainting the siding, trim, front door, and remaining exterior doors.
The siding was finished in Big Chill SW 7648 with a satin sheen. Extra White SW 7006 in gloss created a clean contrast on the trim, while Peacock Plume SW 0020 gave the front door a distinct accent. The other exterior doors were finished in Tricorn Black SW 6258.
Benjamin Moore Element Guard was used for the exterior coating system. The full exterior painting project was completed within Michael’s requested timeline.
Background/Story
Michael chose Alvarez Painting because the proposed schedule matched his needs and the project presentation gave him a clear picture of the work. A complimentary color consultation also helped him plan the four-color exterior design.
Before painting began, the team pressure washed the home and completed the minor carpentry included in the scope. These steps prepared the exterior for the new coating system.

Results
The completed repaint gave the home a coordinated exterior with clear contrast between the siding, trim, and doors. Big Chill created the main body color, while Extra White defined the trim.
Peacock Plume made the front door a distinct feature. Tricorn Black gave the other exterior doors a consistent finish without competing with the main entry.
The minor carpentry was completed before the new coatings were applied, and the full project stayed within the planned five-day timeline.
